Earlier this month, I had the pleasure of meeting Emily Atkinson, founder of The Beautiful Book Company.
The Beautiful Book Company create beautiful, bespoke, hand crafted literary-based gifts. From tailored book subscription to book hampers by genre, they cater for all book lovers, from babies and teenage bookworms to older readers (often notoriously difficult to buy original gifts for!).
Emily’s brief for me was to inject some life into their photography, as her website was showcasing her products but not including the readers or what happens “behind the scene” when the gifts are put together. After a good brainstorm, we planned our session to capture readers in action, whilst making sure that the product was still centre stage.

Working with Stephanie was a great experience. She really took the time to understand what I needed, and get under the skin of the business to shape her thinking.
